I usually plan our adventures in a little notebook, writing everything down old school. Flights, cars, hotels, destinations and points of interest, need to know tips, etc. Wanderlog puts alllll the things on one easy to use platform. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing access to needed information from multiple points. You can attach emails with confirmation numbers and it even pulls that info out for you (confirmation, dates, cost, etc) Love it!
Very good app for creating itineraries. first time using it. I've set up my trip and was pleasantly surprised with how well it finds places of interest if you're not sure of what to do in an area. I have not paid to upgrade and try the trip optimization. I prefer using my own navigation apps. Some of the navigation around the app is a little clunky but I was able to find everything fairly easily. I will continue to use it as a good alternative to writing everything down on paper.
I love how Wanderlog helps me keep my trip well organized, the suggestions from each place which also include information like hours of operation. I'm a visual person and the map is one of my favorite options. I had a technical issue that was resolved in minutes! Wanderlog has been a great resource and I'm sure I'm not even using it to its full potential.
Love this planner! I needed something to keep track of a month long trip. This helped me organize what we were doing, how long it took to get between places, and how to navigate transit. Very detailed! My only issue is tracking items from China is hard, but that's mainly because there's not much available on Google.
This is everything I needed in a trip-planning app. Everything is in one place - lodging, restaurants, destinations. I can put notes to write out little schedule details like when I plan to put my son down for a nap. Each destination you set up automatically puts in a link to that place's website, their hours of operation, travel distance from you place of lodging and more. The app is easy to use and so so helpful.
Great app for traveling! I was able to save points of interest, link to Google maps, travel reviews, and add my own notes to quickly identify specifics about saved places. we were also able to link to our airline, which sent notifications about check-in and boarding. As with all apps, there were a few gliches but nothing to keep me from using. Definitely recommend it.
Absolutely love this app! It is so helpful when planning my trips. I especially love The optimize route option. When I have all my information in place like my starting point and my ending point it is fabulous! I found it was worth it for me to buy the subscription to the app to use this feature. I especially love how it will suggest things to do if you don't have any plans. I do wish it had a biking option for travel between points of interest. But other than that I love the app!
I recently took a solo trip to Italy to a region that is a bit off the beaten path. I was going to be doing a lot of driving and needed to plan my days and stays very carefully. This app was perfect for mapping it all out. I was able to see the distances between each location to make sure the driving was realistic. I loved that it could also keep track of my budget. I tried to plan the trip on Googe maps at first, but Wanderlog was so much better.
The app was working great for a day or 2 until it started glitching. It's super buggy, I can't add notes and type anymore, it keeps skipping around when I'm typing so I can't add or change anything to my trip anymore. And I'm only in the free trial period. Definitely will not be subscribing
This is the best trip planning app, but is so sloooooow, which is almost unusable. Maybe giving the user the ability to turn off images might help improve things when traveling. Also, would be good if you could duplicate a trip when your trip is long as recommended... right now you have to duplicate manually which is a pain. 100% focus on next updates should be on speed and performance. One star because it makes the app hard to use.
I absolutely love this app!!! I would recommend to anyone who is seriously planning a trip. It will take you through there entire process with ease and all the features you would ever need. The pro version has some features that would be nice to have, especially during the trip itself, but none of it is absolutely necessary. My only criticism is of the pro payment options. You can only buy an annual subscription, and no monthly options exist. Even a 3 month/semi annual sub would be nice.
I use this for every trip now. being able to add my cousin and best friend so we can plan together is amazing. fully utilized it for the first time in Nashville, and it did not disappoint. nothing was inaccurate, store hours were correct, probably one of my favorite features is how when you add a destination, it tells you if they're closed or not and gives you a link to their site. 10-10 guys. I'm definitely entering the contest!
I have used several trip planning apps. This one by far is the best. The interaction between goggle maps makes the planning so much easier. Adding an adventure not in the app is also easy. Love the connection to Trip Advisor also. Everything is connected including booking a stay. Easy to use on phone, tablets and computer! Well thought through development.
Great app for trip planning! I like to research restaurants, attractions, nightlife, points of interest and compile them into one list. Wanderlog great for this because you can code each entry and see them as a map view. I love this feature because I can plan all of my dining, transportation and activities in a bird's-eye view of the city. I also noticed but did not use that they have a helpful feature for cost splitting.
I would recommend Wanderlog. It provides nice features especially during planning to keep everything in one place, nicely organized and with a good user interface. I have several suggestions for improvement, particularly on the "while travelling" side. 1) expand the types of entry that can be created in the itinerary 2) fix jitter in itinerary display on Android 3) better integration with phone features like alarms, payments, maps, calls, texts etc. I will use it again.
Wanderlog is a great trip planner app that allows you to email trip itineraries from your flights, hotels, and rental cars for inclusion on your log. Unfortunately, it doesn't know how to receive information from AirBnB. You can drag and move items for your day, and it utilizes good maps to look up places. I appreciate that the app is accessible by browser, so you can use your laptop or desktop to view and update your Wanderlog. It's such an excellent tool for planning.
This travel app is amazing! Loved how the creators have taught about every bit of travel. We planned a 3 week trip to Europe, and this app made everything better. It lets you input your flight info, hotel info, let's you plan every single day and also gives you suggestions and tips for each place, their opening times, tourist attractions, things to do around, travel times etc.It has a packing list as well. I did all this with the basic app and not the pro app. Will use it for every trip!
Found this app to be super helpful when organizing trips. I think some of the features in the pro version would be great to have, but I found the free version perfectly suited for what I needed. Takes a little bit to get used to the formatting, but it makes organization a breeze
Wanderlog was such a great tool to plan and execute my multi-city, multi-country trip! I forwarded all my booking emails to my trip account, added points of interest, searched for ideas and planned my itinerary with ease. Each day, it was so easy to click on the itinerary and figure out where we were going, and all my reference numbers for rental cars, planes, trains and busses were in 1 place. It is truly is a seamless app that saved us lots of stress trying to figure out the day to day details
Was incredibly helpful with planning a vacation. Was able to find things to do, see where each location was on a map, see travel distances between each location, see pictures and even add notes and costs. I even invited my partner to view the itinerary and see when things changed. I plan on continuing to use this app to plan all of my future vacations, it is that helpful.
